Author's Design

During a quiet morning session one day, an image came to mind. I didn't know how it would turn out, but I knew it was important. Determined to get the image out on paper, it took a little over half an hour to be confident with the outcome.

This is my rough draft for the cover of my first book: Broken Angel!

Broken Angel was created in my 8th grade year of school. I didn't have a cover for it starting out.

It wasn't until a year later, after I had the confidence to show one of my friends Broken Angel, that a cover was created.

This is the first book cover ever created for Broken Angel. Having this, knowing that someone created this for a stack of papers filled mindless bable I had written down a year prior...it was the spark on a fire I didn't know needed to be lit.

Seeing my girls drawn out gave me an unknown boost to continue my dream of being a writer.

After finishing my first major edit on my book and coming to a conclusion of the images I wanted.

I was put in touch with the wonderfully talented Rebecca Finkel! Being able to talk to and explain the tornado of images and minute details of my characters was hard but so much fun! We were able to work together and find the best look for my first book, Broken Angel!
